Last photo-shoot in Mumbles

As university came to an end, we decided that we wanted to visit Mumbles one last time to enjoy the vibrant seaside town (and have a mini photo-shoot) before leaving Swansea.

Ngl I thought he was gonna lose his balance and fall any second for the last photo.

Officially graduated from university!

Hey guys! I haven’t been able to post as much over the past few days as I’ve been quite busy 😦 Just wanted to share with you that I have officially graduated from university and have now got a BEng in Civil Engineering! It’s been a pretty crazy and hectic year so this was a pretty happy moment for me.

I’ll try to post more once I’m not as busy as well πŸ˜€

Hope you all have a great day ❀

Cycle trip to Mumbles

Checked the weather forecast in the morning to see that it was going to be a beautiful sunny day. So, I decided to take this opportunity to hire bicycles and cycle up to Mumbles! There’s a cycle path from Swansea to Mumbles so we didn’t need to be on the road which was a plus. It was around a 6km ride from Swansea to Mumbles which wasn’t too far. We also spotted an ice cream van on our way so we obviously made an ice cream stop.

Once we got to Mumbles we were feeling rather peckish so we decided to get some pizza. While waiting for our pizza I had a mini photoshoot cause the lighting was working its magic πŸ˜€

Didn’t get to take a lot of photos cause we were recording for most of our journey. I am planning to make a Youtube video on our trip so stay tuned!

Pretty sunset in Swansea

Just wanted to share with you the cotton candy like sky I got to see today πŸ˜€ Gonna be leaving Swansea soon so gotta make the most of the pretty sky while I can!

What’s your sky view like?

The view from my window

For my first year of university (I’m in my third year now) I lived in student accommodation on campus. I got quite lucky with my accommodation as I was on the fifth floor of a tower that overlooks the sea.

This was my bedroom window.

And this was the view. I loved watching the sunset from my bedroom and felt so lucky that I got to see this for a whole year!

This isn’t from my bedroom window but it’s my university campus which I thought was quite pretty so I thought I’d add it in πŸ˜€

What’s your window view like? Let me know!

Best photo spots in Swansea, Wales

Swansea Beach

The Swansea beach is a perfect setting for photos with friends, family, girlfriend/boyfriend or even going solo!

If you’re looking for a warm colour photo then I suggest going down to the beach in the afternoon/evening to catch the sunset!

Mumbles

Mumbles is about a 5-10 minute drive away from Swansea city centre. It’s a cute little town by the coast where you can enjoy the ocean view (best to visit during sunset/sunrise for a photo).

Singleton Park

If you’re wanting to go for a stroll then Singleton Park is the place for you. You will be surrounded by wildlife and can even buy food to feed the ducks and swans! Visit this park and you will be sure to find plenty of ideal spots for a cheeky photo session.

Brecon Beacons, Wales

The Brecon Beacons are a mountain range in South Wales. If you’re looking for a countryside escape, Brecon Beacons is the place for you. Here you will find landscapes with spectacular views and scenery, a great place to take photos!

We stayed in a small cottage farm which was booked via Airbnb. It was located in a pretty remote and isolated area, right next to a farm. We explored the area by driving around the area and stopping off at areas with good views and coffee stands. There were A LOT of sheep on our drive which was pretty cute ( couldn’t post the videos cause I’m using the free version of WordPress 😦 ).

If you want to escape from a city life to catch a breath of fresh air or just check out some pretty cute sheep and cows, check out Brecon Beacons!
